   My name is Dennis Craughan, I am a retired carpenter with more than 50 years of experience in the building trades. Over the course of my career, I worked on a wide range of projects many of which, remain part of the landscapes and communities I encounter every day.

     In retirement, I have turned my lifelong passion for working with wood toward woodturning. Through independent study and guidance from fellow craftsmen, I have refined my skills and developed a distinctive approach to the craft. Each piece I create is designed to be both visually engaging and thoughtfully made, with the intention of adding character, atmosphere, and meaning to the space it inhabit
